My mother, Carol Snider, inspired my career by showing me how important it is to take on a job and run with it for 60 years with the City of Lima.

Wokeness was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2017. Woke was actually a Black movement watchword that originated in the early 20th century as a call for Black people around the world to “wake up” to racial oppression.

I want to congratulate and thank The Lima News for a wonderful article on pro-life Jefferson Award winner Joyce Buss. She is one who walks the walk and talks the talk for unborn children and their mothers, the poor, the dying and those in need. What a powerhouse of a lady!

On Tuesday, there was an article on the front page of The Lima News about “abortion rights.” The abortion rights supporters are preparing to gather 412,591 signatures to put an amendment on the November ballot that would permit mothers of prospective babies to kill them.
