Letter: Real men should stand up to Ohio GOP

April 20’s front-page article about the Ohio Senate exposed Ohio’s GOP forgoing its “family values” mission to wage a sadistic assault on women and girls, thus weakening entire families, thus implicitly ordering men to “stand down.”

Real men don’t let women and girls get pushed around. In America, real men won’t let their arms hang limply by their sides like helpless wusses while politicians double-talk their way through their back doors, into the bedrooms of their homes and castles, to force their way on their wives and daughters.

Real men don’t cotton to slick-talking country clubbers chumming up with a slap on the back and a trick up their sleeve to treat women and girls as breeder sows left to singlehandedly tend unwelcome zygotes to swell factories with bargain-priced, low-wage, surplus labor. Real men don’t kneel at the feet of clergymen paid from collection plates brimming with bribes funding a venue for spinning self-serving tales of false person-hood to confuse and avert attention by blabbering faux sympathy for the humble while supinely giving thanks to well-heeled donors syphoning wages of others with the left hand while purchasing favors with the right.

Real men call out lawless judges who, with a chip on their shoulders, sentence retaliation against their mistreatment in cathedrals’ chancels and cloakrooms of their upbringing, there forced under black robes, who now pounce to prey with misplaced revenge on women and girls. Women and girls know full well the difference between real men and the cowardly, spineless worms who pimp and abandon them to the abuse proposed to be heaped on women and girls by Ohio GOP politicians, their sponsors, and accomplices!
