Letter: Stolly brings leadership

I first met Greg Stolly when I walked, unannounced, into his Ohio State Beauty Academy office in the fall of 2002. I had recently returned to Lima after seven years away and had been tasked with the challenge of reviving a long standing, popular summer festival — Square Fair. As a downtown corporate citizen, Greg was my first stop.

I was so impressed!

He was welcoming, he listened, he shared innovative ideas, his love for our community, and he eagerly jumped on board to make it happen. He helped to develop a coalition of businesses, corporations, social organizations, government, safety services and individuals around the county to bring together over 2,000 volunteers and raise over $125,000 each year from 2004-2010 as tens of thousands of families celebrated Lima/Allen County, through the arts, in Lima’s Town Square each August.

That is leadership! Greg Stolly will bring this same tenacity, intelligence, advocacy, and business acumen to the benefit of all of us when he is elected to the Allen County Commission. I urge you to vote Greg Stolly for Allen County Commissioner. I promise you will be impressed!
