The Republican Party has two candidates running for Van Wert County treasurer in the March 17 primary election. I feel only one of the candidates is qualified. He was born and raised and lived his whole life in Van Wert County. When he attended Vantage School, he studied accounting. Next he attended the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima and earned a degree in accounting. He also has 32 years of business experience.
During the last election we had a new county yreasurer and a new county auditor elected. Both offices are being investigated by the State of Ohio for questionable practices and unaccounted money. We need someone that is educated to handle the job.
Please vote for Jeff McIntosh for Van Wert County treasurer on March 17th.
