I’m a lifelong Republican and I don’t recognize the party anymore. Donald Trump is a bully who attacks people daily on twitter calling them names. He broke the law and should be held accountable. You don’t ask foreign countries to interfere in our elections, period. America has been diminished on the world stage. Our allies are laughing at us.
The other day in the White House, he and his boys club laughed and joked about what Mr. Pompeo did to a female NPR reporter doing her job. This was inappropriate. Fox News is acting like State TV. If you all want to desperately cling to this new ideology and this man, then call yourselves the Trump Party and relinquish your ties to the Republican Party so that we can get back to the principals that have guided us for generations.
Trump is a clear and dangerous threat to our Democracy and those that support him are complicit in his crimes. John Bolton is not known as a liar in conservative circles. Book or no book, he should have been heard, not defamed. They even attacked a Purple Heart recipient. It was shameful.
Enough is enough. I have voted Republican my whole life. In good conscience I will not vote for one Senator or Congressman who kowtowed to Donald J. Trump.
