I want to thank Allen County RTA for providing the busses and shuttles to the residents of the Mt. Vernon apartments after the fire last week. It was a comfort to this mother to drive up and see them sitting there as I arrived to pick up my daughter. I was terrified they were standing in this horrid cold.
It was her and her father’s apartment that burned. They are fine, but her kitty died the hero. Mischief alerted her to the fire by his behavior.
Thank you ACRTA for going above and beyond the call. This is what Lima is all about, pulling together in times of need.
