Recently our Ohio House and Ohio Senate have passed a bill punishing a doctor who performs an abortion and a patient who believes she has a fetus with Down’s syndrome. The doctor would face a prison term and lose his license.
I do know that abortions are legal and available in our country. I am frightened to learn that our representatives will take this medical decision into the political arena.
So they believe they know better than a doctor what is best for a female patient? It reminds me of past dictatorship which decided the fate of their citizens.
