Why would anyone condemn attempts to make this country safer for all Americans by:
• Securing our borders and preventing terrorists from infiltrating;
• Making us energy independent;
• Revamping our aging infrastructure;
• Providing more jobs;
• and cracking down on crime?
These are a few improvements already set in motion, yet Charles Thomas felt a need to publicly slander the person most responsible for them—-President Trump. In Charles Thomas’ letter to the editor posted in The Lima News on Jan. 28th, he insinuated that the president is racist, Islamaphobic, and perverted, thus trying to subvert any positive changes by the new administration through deflection.
Instead of supporting the President (as all of us should), Thomas resorts to childish name-calling. How is that going to help accomplish anything good? Anyone still whining, crying, or rioting over the presidential Election needs to start sucking on a pacifier and instead help the rest of us make America great again.
