Letter: Apollo offers free programs for adults

The “Careers in Education” insert, as seen in The Lima News on March 20, was very informative for those adults who wish to return to school. Many reasons for their return were given, such as: pursue a new degree, learn more about their existing fields, or attending school for the first time.

As stated, “Feelings of doubt are common among adults returning to school.” Also, the necessary steps needed when considering the return to school are not clear. Apollo’s ABLE/GED/ESOL program can help you discover the steps needed for it to be a successful re-entry into academia. Many people question their basic skills when pursuing further schooling. Apollo ABLE classes can offer a comprehensive review of your math, reading and language skills with classroom instruction or online learning at no charge. The ABLE Transition class can assist you with career exploration, financial aide, career exploration, school visitations and more to help you become a prepared student. All classes are free.

Stop in and let the ABLE instructors simplify your steps and make your next steps easier in your pathway to success. Call Joyce Tracy at 419-998-2956 for further questions.
