Kudos to the high school boy’s basketball coaches at Fairlawn and Waynesfield-Goshen. On Feb. 8, the final regular season home game at WG was an unbelievable display of kindness and sportsmanship.
With less than one minute to go in the game, both coaching staffs instructed their teams to step back on defense to allow a special WG Senior dribble in for a successful lay-up. The buzzer sounded, the game was over and the celebration began.
The reaction of all fans and players was a life lesson on what is really most important.
