Letter: Bowl for Kids is fun, helpful

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Putnam County is hosting our 32nd annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake on Saturday, March 5 at Ottawa Highland Lanes and March 12, at Pandora Sports Center and. We need your help! Every penny raised will stay in Putnam County helping Putnam County kids! We offer a variety of programs that give children in need an opportunity to form a positive and supportive one to one relationship.

In order to help support these programs, we need you to form a team of four people, raise donations on behalf of your team, and come bowl. The more you raise, the more free rewards you earn for your team such as T-shirts, pizza, pop, and raffle tickets! There is no minimum amount needed to bowl and there are various days and times in which to choose.

In addition to bowling, we will have a drawing to win 200 lottery tickets donated by Ottawa Highland Lanes. You can purchase chances for this raffle for $1 each. Sponsors for this event are: Arby’s, First National Bank, K & L Ready Mix, Superior Federal Credit Union, and DJ Sky; Jake Stechschulte.

Please help us make this our best Bowl For Kids’ Sake yet and join us at Ottawa Highland Lanes or Pandora Sports Center! For more information about our programs, to buy raffle tickets for the lottery drawing, or to register a team for Bowl, please call Big Brothers Big Sisters Putnam County Coordinator Melissa Weaver at 419-523-4016 or visit our website at www.bbbswco.com.
