Letter: Shooting down Obama gun threat

President Obama says he is going to pass gun control laws on states by executive order. Nonsense. No federal law outside of the United States Constitution can be imposed on the states unless the state allows it. All the state has to do is nullification. There are four states that have passed nullification of all federal gun control laws in their states which means no federal gun control laws can be imposed on their states. The four states are Idaho, Alaska, Tennessee, and Kansas.

If Gov. Kasich and Ohio legislators say we the people of Ohio have to follow Obama’s executive order on gun control laws, they are either ignorant of the state laws and rights or think we the people are ignorant of state laws. We the people of Ohio need to let Kasich and Ohio legislators know that we the state of Ohio can nullify all federal gun control by Obama.
