I see where U. S. Rep. Jim Jordan told The Lima News he “thinks the newly appointed House Speaker Paul Ryan was a good choice.” I thought that the Speaker was “elected” by the House member, but in this case, maybe Jordan is correct because no one was going to be the new speaker without kissing Mr. Jordan’s ring and getting the blessing of the House Freedom (aka American Taliban) Caucus.
And apparently, under Mr. Jordan’s guidance, Speaker Ryan will only “push” the issues that the majority (read Jim Jordan) supports.
According to the paper, Jordan said “Ryan is a good messenger.” It can’t get much plainer: Jim Jordan says jump and Ryan says how high. I wonder how it feels to be Jim’s pet?
