Letter: Honest people calm my panic

On Oct. 31, I discovered that I had lost my Meijer credit card—panic struck! I always need their electric carts so I retraced my tracks and found nothing. Then I checked at Customer Service desk and told the clerk about my card. She called me by my first name (surprise). When she returned she asked for my last name and returned my card. When I inquired, she told me a customer had given it to an employee and was brought there.

I don’t know the sex, race or religion but you have won a star in your crown!
