Letter: Monitor your children’s online activity to be safe

My stomach churned while reading about the abduction of the American Township teenager.

The internet is incredible in scope, but it is scary as well. This is a time for parents to step up and monitor their children’s online activity.

This teen came home safe to her loving family, but every day we read of incidents that do not end so well. The Lima News and the New York Post elaborated on this incident, which initiated through an online game. A game! I’m no wise man here, just a concerned Lima guy.
