This is in response to the letter blaming President Joe Biden for his candy going up in price.
Please use your mind. When minimum wage goes up, so does everything else. It’s not the president of the United States tat raises prices, Democratrs or Republicans.
It’s the companies that make the products we buy. Good old American greed.
They see people making more money when wages go up, and so do their products’ prices.
I was making $2.35 an hour in 1964 and bought a nice car for $2.35 an hour. Look what you pay now and what you have to make an hour to afford a car, house payment and so on. People have also raised rent since the hourly wage has gone up.
It’s people being greedy, not the president of the United States.
Please open your eyes, ears and your mind as to what really is causing these problems. Warren Buffett has a solution to this, but it probably won’t ever take place. The rich get rich, and the working man still struggles.
