Letter: Prices keep going up, whatever they claim

President Joe Biden is bragging that inflation is down. Here are some real facts.

On Election Day, I bought gas for $1.74. One year after Biden was in office, gas was $3.20.

My package of doughnuts went from $3.80 to $4.96. My chocolate bar went from $1.83 to $2.40. My favorite breakfast went from $6.20 to $7,80. Bananas went from 39 cents to 54 cents.

The writer from Bluffton a few days back stated Biden has slashed gas prices. Did he just get off the canal boat?
