God had a plan for the Virgin Mary. She was chosen to be the mother of the Son of God. The angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and told her, “Fear not, God’s spirit will shadow you, and you will have a baby and call him Jesus Christ.”
We celebrate his birth at Christmas. The love that flows at Christmastime should be throughout the coming years. We should always remember the gift and giver during Christmas because God loves us and gave his only Son. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
A gift of joy, peace and laughter.
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus came to save a lost world from their sins.” Jesus loves us all unconditionally.
