Letter: Look at the conflict from Palestinian view

I’m not an anti-Semite, and I believe in justice for all, equally.

What is going on in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank is criminal to the Palestinian people. The following was the beginning, and it has been continuous wars since that time.

On Nov. 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 181 (also known as the Partition Resolution) that would divide Great Britain’s former Palestinian mandate into Jewish and Arab states in May 1948. Why didn’t the two states happen? Great Britain took it upon herself to disrupt these individuals and did not treat each fairly.

As part of the 70th anniversary of U.S.-Israel relations, the American Center, Jerusalem, screened a fascinating documentary about the first U.S. ambassador to Israel, James McDonald. McDonald was one of the first Americans to meet face-to-face with Hitler in 1933, and he worked tirelessly to save the lives of thousands of Jews fleeing Nazi Germany.

The United States financially supports Israel, so it is better prepared for war against the Palestinians. Why are the Arab states not supporting the Palestinians? It appears to me the Palestinians are getting a bad rap to the rest of the world. Like they’re the bad guys in all this.

I understand that I don’t know all there is to know, but anytime the USA supports a person or country, they have the power on their side.

If a decision was made by others to move me out of my house and this area, I would feel very angry and cheated of my rights, all I have planted and worked to support this property.
