Letter: Law enforcement should be appreciated

After reading the article written in The Lima News on July 15 by Mackenzi Klemann, I feel like I have to respond to yet another undeserving slam toward law enforcement. To Mackenzi Klemann, the article was irresponsible and bush league.

My advice is to write positive articles about law enforcement because we need them and they are the only reason you, me and everyone else are able to survive day to day.

To the Pritchett family, my heart goes out to the daughters but a law officer that stops a criminal with a gun will always be celebrated by normal, law-abiding citizens. If you really care about his kids, you too will celebrate and appreciate law enforcement and teach them to do the same.
