Letter: Frustrated with state corruption

Recently the so-called highly renowned Ohio Power Sitting Board rubber-stamped their second denial of the Shawnee solar farm. My concern is that the state and township are anti-farming with big taxes and government. One example is House Bill 1 which is in the Ohio legislative branch. If made law, it would raise taxes on farmers especially in the form of property taxes, and lower income taxes for the rich.

The state is corrupt as seen by the Ted Noe coingate and more recently Larry Householder and energy bribes by the energy industry. Those that like the current affairs of the township government can consider making a 501C donation to this money-hungry township that thinks throwing money will solve all problems. The Shawnee school system may be seeking new money for a new school. All of these areas are tied together by regulation and property taxes which is why the township needs a tea party.
