Letter: Daily puzzles helped keep the mind sharp

Like the vast majority of your subscribers, I am mad and disappointed in your recent change to two a week.

As an 80-plus subscriber, I counted on and looked forward to doing the puzzles and crosswords in an attempt to keep my mind sharp. Not only have you cheated me out of that, but you also reneged on the service I’ve already paid you for — without even offering a refund.

This is not the first bad decision your management team has made in not putting your subscribers first, but it is certainly the worst. Two a week doesn’t even qualify you as a newspaper anymore.

Whoever makes your marketing decisions must be an idiot. With prices on everything else going up, you could have doubled your price and not lost a handful of subscribers.

It’s never too late to do the right thing.
