Wednesday’s Trump town hall was a disgraceful propaganda event to promote a wannabe dictator.
I tuned in to get a few laughs, but even I was shocked at the flood of untruths pouring out of his mouth.
CNN lost any credibility it may have had by hosting such an event and in its choice of a moderator. Even though she challenged Trump on his lies, he talked over her repeatedly, and she just pulled back.
Why they chose a woman to host is a mystery. We all know of Trump’s misogyny. Just 24 hours after being found liable on defamation charges and sexual assault, he defamed Ms. Carroll several times again. Trump convicted himself in his deposition, claiming that it is something that has been acceptable for a million years?
What is even more disturbing was the audience, hand-picked, obviously supporters, snickering and applauding when he attacked her again.
Did anyone else find it odd that Trump identified E. Jean Carroll as his wife, Marla Maples, when in the same picture he is standing next to his first wife Ivana? And the right is claiming Biden is not capable of handling the job. At least he has no trouble recognizing his wife.
Trump does not belong in the Oval Office; he belongs in a prison cell.
