Letter: Younger generation of politicians needed

As an old lady (mid-70s), I can attest to losses from aging. Yet, here we are again looking at two old men who have declared to run for president.

Both parties need to begin grooming some younger, smart, caring people to run their efforts and take our country into the future. We have watched politics become a place only for those who have wealth or influence needed to gain a spot. So many good people could run but do not have the means. If someone provides the means, then they expect to help make decisions.

Come on people! Let’s demand change. They supposedly work for us.

This seems like common sense, but we see a shortage of that from our political parties.
