Letter: Kindness was best medicine

I want to thank everyone that was involved in my wife’s care during her 50 days in St. Rita’s hospital.

It was overwhelming the kindness of so many people. I cant remember all the names, but I do remember their kindness. The staff would stop and ask how I was doing. A nurse who drove over 2 hours to be with the family when we had my wife taken off the vent. The nurses on the 3-B side who brought me a gift bag of snacks while I waited on updates about my wife.

I drove by a billboard for Mercy Health which said kindness is our best medicine. That is really true because me and my family experienced it.
