Neighborhoods are essential to improving our community. In the current campaign for mayor of Lima, candidates and their supporters have expressed interest in neighborhood concerns. The interest in neighborhoods is a positive development and is to be applauded.
Lima-Allen County Neighborhoods In Partnership (LACNIP) is a network of volunteer based neighborhood associations and others advocating for improving the quality of life in the neighborhoods and encouraging personal responsibility. As a community-based non-partisan organization, LACNIP does not endorse or oppose any specific candidate for any elected office.
An informed electorate is crucial to our democracy and improving our community. LACNIP encourages all citizens to be involved in the political process, be well informed, and to vote.
