Lima Mayoral candidate Elizabeth Hardesty has been a controversial candidate in Lima due to her residency raising concerns among Lima residents. Recently, instead of explaining and speaking to voters on Facebook when asked, she has blocked them from commenting and asking questions in the future.
Candidates running should be able to answer all questions by the same constituents they’re trying to represent. We should be cautious when candidates act like this to the voter base. We need strong leaders like Sharetta Smith to lead this community, who answers all questions, not dodge candidates who may not even live here.
