After reading all of the pros and cons of the solar panel fields, no one that I recall brought this up:
The amount of acres it would take up is over 2,600. There are 640 acres in one square mile. So if you would drive two miles, turn and go two miles and return where you started, that would be about 2,600 acres.
This might enlighten someone.
