We have just (hopefully) finished a very contentious presidential election.
In 2016, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, but lost the Electoral College.
Donald Trump figured out how to play the game.
In 2016, Clinton 65,853,516 votes — 48.53%; Trump 62,984,825 votes — 46.42%. All Other Candidates — 5% of the votes.

2020 Biden 81,284,516 votes — 51.27%, Trump 74,224,501 Votes — 46.82%. All Other Candidates — 2%.

Trump once again lost the popular vote, but this time he also lost the Electoral College. Biden picked up 3% of the voters who had previously voted for a third party and Trump only advanced his percentage by .4%.
So, as we go forward, let’s be neighbors. Consider coming together as a country, rather than crying about the election results as we have done for the past 12 (at least) years.
And in four years we can do it all over again. Hopefully acting as adults, not a bunch of petulant children.
