I can’t believe the Allen County commissioners approved $23,500 for a consultant to tell Brion Rhodes how to make his messed-up roundabout safer. The public and law enforcement have already explained how to make it safer: Reduce it to one lane.
If a driver in the inside lane wants to exit, and a driver in the outside lane wants to go on around, there will be an accident. When an accident happens, law enforcement doesn’t issue a citation because… who is right, and who is wrong?
He wants to install signage, which will only distract drivers more. Go back to a traffic signal, or use common sense!
