Letter: Stop talking, show me

Some of Anthony D’Aquanni’s final words as family members said their final goodbyes were “everyone keeps telling me that they love me, show me!”

If you were in attendance at St. John’s 9:30 a.m. Mass this past Sunday, Father David Ross expressed during his homily a conviction to our feel-good pop culture and made an impassioned plea for us individually to elevate our behavior as it pertains to virtue, correcting injustices, defending the defenseless and caring for those unable to care for themselves; then you felt God’s word touching your heart.

I left asking myself “Will we continue to give lip service to moral platitudes or will we show the world what love is through our actions?”
