Difficult times call for different approaches. Due to the COVID pandemic, the Equestrian Therapy Program wasn’t able to hold its two major fundraisers at Fassett Farm this year. Technology came to our rescue. On Sept. 5th we held a combination Derby Festival/Ride-A-Thon virtual auction. Once again, the people from in and outside of our community came through with their support to make this event a resounding success. Their generosity is especially heart-warming during these difficult times.

The funds raised allow us to keep our riders fees to a minimum and provide scholarships to those who need them. Because of you, our Program is in its 37th year of providing equine assisted activities and therapies to the disabled in Allen and the surrounding ten counties.
In June, we began a phased re-opening in order to keep our riders, volunteers and staff in a controlled, safe environment. This fall we transitioned to phase two and, God willing, we’ll be able to have all of our students back for winter session. This is made possible because of the generosity and support of the wonderful people in our community. We send our deepest appreciation to you all!
