I am a veteran who saw friends and relatives die or end up as invalids in wheelchairs for the remainder of their lives.
I watch in disgust as or college students burned their draft cards and called military members “baby killers” and even spat on us when we returned from ‘Nam.
I’ve watched as our freedoms have been eroded and our flag has been desecrated to a rag worn on the seat of jeans or used as handkerchiefs, not the stars and stripes that thousands fought and died for.
All of this, and then I hear the Democrats want to use the tax dollars that I worked for to pay for illegal immigrants to receive free medicine and Social Security.
I am a senior citizen, naturally born and living from hand to mouth on the “pension” (a pinch here and a pinch there) and the government says it cannot afford to increase. yet they want to give illegal immigrants the same rights because we should have open borders.
