Letter: Proud of this city

It’s incredible how many kind people are found in this city. Last week I had a very unfortunate incident with my car, right next to the McDonald’s on Cable Road. While I waited for my parents to arrive with a tow truck, many people were passing by and noticed my situation. They could have very easily thrown conniption fits and cussed me out, but instead, they offered to help me, some even offering me a spare tire.

I respectfully declined each time, since my parents and sister were coming, but nonetheless, it was very generous of these people to reach out and offer to help me. The level of compassion that these people have shown is something I will never forget.
