What are people thinking by destroying our history?
Tearing down statues of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Christopher Columbus and others.
Why?
Protesters tried to pull down the Andrew Jackson statue. They put an American flag over Washington’s statue and then set it on fire — how very sad. This is our founding father with whom you are trying to erase from history.
It’s time some people need to wake up and appreciate this great country of ours before you destroy it and let socialism take over.
A question for the people who have so much energy that they resort to looting, burning and vandalizing statues: Why not do something positive? Help a person do yard work. Wash windows. Fix up a house. It would be so rewarding.
Be productive. Not destructive.
