I’ve been reluctant to write this letter for weeks now, but I just can’t hold it in anymore.
My wife and I just got back from the grocery store and as I sat in the car waiting for her ( I recently had a heart procedure). I noticed that a lot of people coming and going from the store did not have masks on. We have health experts telling us that it is safer to wear one, yet a lot of people ignore the advice.
Now, if we have a virus pandemic, people are dying everyday, it can be transmitted easily and a health expert tells you to wear a mask, and you still don’t – then you are either selfish, stupid, a coward — or all three. It’s unbelievable to me how many people do not have the courage to wear a mask because it is odd or different (admit it). Or, how stupid people are for not believing the advice from experts who study these viruses for a living!
If you are completely against abiding by any rules of society, or just can’t stand anybody telling you what to do, then go live in a cave somewhere where the only thing you have to deal with is the only thing you care about – you.
