American Legion Post 96 Lima, along with the Lima Eagles, Lima Elks 54, Mulligans Pub, and Somewhere in Time pub, have been saving used Crown Royal bags. For every bag sent to Crown Royal, they donate $1 to Packages from Home, a charity that sends packages to service members who are serving overseas. You can contact them at packagesfromhome.com.
To date the above mentioned organizations have sent in over 2,500 bags to Crown Royal. This is a great way to help our service men and women stationed overseas. As a Vietnam eteran myself I can tell you a package from home is always welcomed when you are stationed in a faraway land. Should you have any Crown Royal bags please drop them off at any on the organizations mentioned in this letter. Also don’t forget the American Legion Post 96 will properly dispose of your used American Flags. Just drop them off at our post at 711 S. Shore Drive. Lima, Ohio
