The story about the mother and daughter who perished in the Perry Township fire was one of the most tragic and distasteful pieces of journalism I have ever read. All The Lima News did was cause more heartache and pain to the family and community that is still reeling from their grief over this senseless tragedy.
In a time like this empathy and compassion go a long way, but I suppose when it comes to selling newspapers there is no room for any of that.What was written in that article was not journalism, that was sensationalism in its worst form.
