C. Bradford Kelley’s observation that Lawrence A. Huffman’s background is similar to Judge Cheney’s is a misrepresentation of the facts.
Judge Cheney was in private practice, but he was a part time Magistrate in Juvenile Court for 17 1/2 years dealing with juvenile offenders and then for six years he was a full time Magistrate at Lima Municipal Court. Judge Cheney dealt with various aspects of both felony and misdemeanor cases in each of these courts.
