More murderers are being offered plea deals that allow killers back onto the streets of Lima.
More heroin dealers are peddling poison in Lima, yet again, reduced charges put dealers back on the street to continue killing.
Yet, the citizens of Lima are led to believe that offering plea deals is a better option than actually working to prove a case and taking it to trial and permanently removing these thugs from the community. Obviously, this type of system is flawed and Lima residents suffer. Maybe if one of the candidates for judge spent more time in the courtroom and less time trying to get elected, the community would be served better. High conviction rates based on plea deals to to bolster one’s career don’t protect anyone!
