It has been three years since St. Rita’s Professional Services unceremoniously escorted me out of oncology practice on the hospital’s campus. The trial involving the claims against each other is now completed. My two lawyers and I have prevailed against the efforts of the $8 billion dollar corporation, David versus Goliath!
I wish to thank Judge Jeffrey Reed and his staff for their professionalism and especially the jury for their insights into the facts surrounding this case. I implore any person who feels that they are facing impossible odds in any situation that you never know what will happen until you make the effort and confront the problem. You can succeed.
My only regret is that I will not have the opportunity to finish my career practicing oncology for the people in the Lima community, where I have had the privilege of providing this care since 1985.
