I wanted to send out a huge thank you to an RTA bus driver. We had a funeral for a family member on a Friday afternoon. We were in a long funeral procession and were traveling east on E. North st in Lima. The RTA bus driver saw us coming, and pulled his bus over. He then got out of the bus, and walked to the front of it, and stood at attention with arm saluting across his chest. When we saw what he was doing, it made several people in our vehicle start crying, at the amount of respect this man showed for a fellow human being. I called the RTA to let them know the appreciation we had for his actions! I am not sure of his name, but he looked to be a former military person from the stance he took’
