Letter: Remembering the kindness of Wendy toward a stranger

A few days before Christmas, I was in the Allentown Road Walmart. I was telling the woman in the checkout line why I had so many items. My great-niece’s house burned a few days before, and she lost everything. She asked where, I told her Hardin County.

She said tell her she’s in my prayers. She gave me some money to give to her. Her name was Wendy; she didn’t give her last name.

Thank you, Wendy, I know you will be paid back.
