I live in the 1st ward and have some concerns. Mr. Todd Gordon is my present city councilor, but four months ago, I’ve never saw or heard from him on any issues.
I had an issue with my driveway and street that runs from McDonal and O’Connor into the school parking lot. I contacted Mr. Gordon and had not a clue of the schools plans for a new route for the busses, and did not know who to even contact for information. While not receiving any information from Mr. Gordon, I contacted Mr. Ray Magnus. Mr. Magnus was able to get me the information that I needed and was able to coordinate with the school, city and contractor on my issues and concerns.
Mr. Gordon states that he is for the people, not politics. However, he has shown the opposite in council and involvement in the 1st ward or city. For example, National Night Out, Robb Park renovations, Northside Neighborhood picnic, Grand opening of the C.O.P station, Mr. Gordon was a no show. Ray Magnus was at every one. Also, Mr. Gordon has nothing to say at council. So who is Mr. Gordon really looking out for? The 1st ward?
I intend to vote for someone who has mine, 1st ward and the city’s concerns, I will vote Ray Magnus.
