When I moved to Lima in 1991, driving into Lima was like driving into a devastated war zone, but today it is much better. Roadways have been improved, dilapidated buildings and houses have been removed. Employment has increased, not only is the refinery alive and healthy but the chemical industry has also grown. Lima has new businesses and employers.
Mayor Berger has been at the forefront of the changing needs of the City of Lima. The budget and finances of the city are sound!
