Letter: Enough is enough with cable price increases

We got notice that our cable bills will go up to $165 a month this year when our contract runs out with Time Warner, then the next year the bill goes to $265 a month under Spectrum. We cannot afford that on fixed incomes.

The new Spectrum advertises it is more affordable and better. Well, it is neither. Most of the shows are reruns, and no one can afford those price hikes.

I guess we will all have to go back to watching TV on antennas and get rid of internet. The CEO makes high wages, while the majority of people have a lot less to live on.

People need to fight back with this company. Let them know you are not going to put up with this. They sign you on with a decent rate, then when the year is up, look out, the rate goes way. Also it is ridiculous to have to argue with them all the time to have decent rates. We are sick and tired of getting ripped off.
