I was very happy and thrilled to find a beautiful, well written letter in my mail box. It was written in appreciation for the cross in my yard on Grubb Road. The lady signed the letter, “your sister in Christ, God bless you.” At the top of the letter were written II Corinthians 11 and 12 and I read these two chapters in my Bible. She expressed herself so well writing the following letter than I could tell it. This is what she wrote:
“I felt the Holy Spirit was putting on my heart to reach out and thank you for your boldness in Christ by having a wooden cross in your front lawn. I would pass you house and at the time I was going through a season of weakness and seeking forgiveness and redemption through Christ, when I passed your house, every time I felt joy and peace that would awaken my soul and felt a reminder of his presence, love for me that is unconditional and the mercy which is new every morning. I just felt you should know the power of Christ was moved through your willingness to love Him and He reached to me through it as well.”
I would like to meet her. It was a great spiritual blessing to receive this wonderful letter and it made me very happy. I want to thank her for it. I prayed that the cross in my yard would make a difference in someone’s life.
