As an animal lover and senior citizen on a fixed income, I wish some veterinarians would take this into consideration when we have to take our pets to them.
It costs me more to take my cat to the vets than for me to see my doctor.
I go to the clinic and at least they go by my income. I am willing to show proof of income to any veterinarian who would be willing to make it affordable for my pet to be seen when needed. The cost of food continues to go up for our pets, which these companies and veterinarians are making it almost impossible to have a pet.
I hope for the sake of our pets that they will consider giving people who need it some kind of break.
