In November, the voters of the City of Lima will have an opportunity to choose their mayor for the next four years. There are two very good candidates who are asking for our vote. It is my hope that our citizens will not let this contest degrade to the extent that our recent national election had. In a recent letter in The Lima News, the term “Booger” was used to describe Mayor Berger’s supporters. This is a term of disrespect, and should not have been used, especially by a “teacher.”
Let’s keep our comments, from both sides, above board in this most important election. We must show everyone that Lima is better than that. Thanks for listening.
