I was just listening to a phone interview with Senator Rob Portman on the local news. He was commenting on the fact that Democrats were blocking some of President Trump’s nominations. He said the Democrats should ask their questions and address every issue, but “let’s not block the opportunity to have a vote.”
I was just wondering why Sen. Portman and his fellow Republicans did not take his own advice when President Obama tried to make a Supreme Court justice nomination. They just refused to consider it.
